A question that has recently opened up a wide debate in relation to the cat’s diet concerns whether it is healthy or not to make the cat drink cow’s milk.
While not a deadly food for cats, cow’s milk is certainly not recommended.
In fact, even as puppies, it is suggested to give a special milk for kittens, as cow’s milk is low in fat, protein and minerals but also too rich in lactose.
Even for an adult cat, cow’s milk is difficult to digest, so much so that the veterinarians themselves suggest not giving more than 40 ml of milk a day, in case the four-legged is particularly fond of this drink.
