However, it is important to pay attention to the quantities of this food, as too much liver can cause vitamin A poisoning in cats.

Another ingredient that we will use to make liver biscuits for cats is pumpkin. This food is rich in fiber, an essential element for the digestive system of our four-legged friend.

Liver biscuits for cats: ingredients and procedure

Cooking for your kitty can be a lot of fun. Here are the ingredients and the procedure to prepare delicious liver snacks for our furry friend.

Ingrediants

  • 300 gr. of wholemeal flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of seed oil
  • 100gr. of chicken liver
  • 50 gr. pumpkin

Method

To make liver biscuits for cats, chicken liver must first be cooked. Then take the latter and place it in a non-stick pan with a little water and cook.

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C. After cooking the liverchop it to form a sort of pate. Then also blend the raw pumpkin.

Then place the flour on the table and add the pumpkin, the liver pate, the oil and start kneading, starting from the center add the flour to the ingredients, forming a sort of shortcrust pastry.

After creating a homogeneous mixture, roll it out with a rolling pin with a height of half a centimeter and form the biscuits with the mold of your choice.

After creating the biscuits, place them in a baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake for about 20 minutes. Once cooked, let them cool and then let the cat taste them. It is possible to keep liver biscuits in an airtight jar for at least 20 days.
