Russian dwarf hamster

They reach their sexual maturity at 20 days of life and thereafter they can have between 4 and 6 litters a year, of which up to 9 offspring can be born each time.

A peculiarity of this hamster is that its coat color is seasonal. It changes color in winter due to the reduction of daylight hours.

Golden hamster

They tend to weigh between 80 and 150 grams when they reach adulthood , although at birth they weigh only one or two. The females are usually larger than the males.

They reach their sexual maturity throughout the second month of life and can have between 5 and 9 litters per year , whose gestation lasts 15 days. Their life expectancy can reach three years.

Roborowski hamster
